Presentation of the Cluster Rhône-Alpes Eco-énergies
Cluster Rhône-Alpes Eco-énergies is a French association created in 2006, based on an initiative from Rhône-Alpes Regional Council. In 2010, it federates more than 250 members from the private and the public sector working on the eco-building market in Rhône-Alpes.
Members are representative of the eco-building market in the region, coming from SMEs to big companies, institutional actors, training companies and research institutes.
The cluster’s main objective is to facilitate networking between its members in order to:
To achieve those aims, the cluster proposes concrete and market-oriented actions such as:
- Networking of companies and actors
The cluster organizes inter-members meeting (on a quarterly basis) as well working groups (on Solar Energy, Training, Conception, Eco-materials…), in order to facilitate business connections, networking and various exchanges. The cluster works as a chain of complementarities for the eco-building actors.
- Help and support in commercial and international development
The cluster proposes to its members to participate in the main French eco-building fairs as well as in several international events. As part of the international development plan, the cluster also proposes through its program Eco Energies International a financial support and a strategic coaching to foster international business development.
- Strategic support and innovation fostering
The cluster offers its members a technological and a regulation watch.
Focusing on innovation development, the cluster proposes through its successful program Eco Energies Innov’ a financial and strategic support to 10 innovative projects in the eco-building area.
- Promotion of the cluster and its members
The cluster advocates at regional, national and international levels to bring attention to the eco-building stakes, as well as to promote its actions and those of its members.
All these different means organised and proposed by the Rhône-Alpes Eco-Energies Cluster makes it structuring and developing the eco-building industry. It is a main actor in Rhône-Alpes for the eco-building industry.
